“We thought we were just going for a ride on 7/18 only to find ourselves at the Augusta Harley Davidson Dealership. We didn’t realise they were having a party till we pulled in. It was late & the party was winding down. Even though it had been a long hot day for the staff, everyone made us feel welcome. David & I decided to ride over the state line & then head home. As we were coming back through the construction west bound, David felt the rearend give way. He got us stopped only to find we had picked up a nail. It was 6:15. I called AHD & the recording said they were closed but would be open Sunday (sales & service). What luck, so I called a wrecker & we went to AHD. When we arrived we decovered that alot of the staff was still in the building. They allowed us to put our baby inside for the night & Jeff even gave us a ride up to a nearby motel so we could get a room (since we didn’t know where we were we had planned on hanging out in the parking lot all night). Before Jeff dropped us off he told us that the service department was no longer opened on Sunday. David & I were devestated, but while our minds where trying to think a way of our situation, Jeff called Jereme & he agreed to come in (on his day off) to mount us a new tire. When it was all over…..we only had to pay for the tire & tube!!!!!! David & I have traveled this country from east to west and north to south. We have travel into every state in North America & I can honestly say…….Augusta Harley Davidson is the best & has the best people in the United States of America. Never have I had anyone treat me with as much kindness & generousity. They truely gave from the heart. Thank you all & may God bless you.”

“We were on our way to the Outer Banks when we saw your billboard and decided to stop for a break. After selecting several items (including a new helmet) the saleslady, Robin Walker, offered to ship the purchases home for us. Since we didn’t have a lot of extra room, we quickly agreed. When we arrived home 9 days later, our package was there, and when I opened it , right on top was a yellow sticky note saying ” Hope you had a fun and safe trip”. “I went to Augusta HD on my way home (Petal, MS) from Columbia on January 18th and went in to buy a T-shirt. I got my shirt alright! In the form of the dealerships 1st Rocker-C! Rey was the main salesman that assisted me and the others helped too. The deal didn’t take as long as you would expect for someone that didn’t have any intension of buying a bike. I was in and out in about 3 hours and that was even with the time it took to try and find a trailer, which I didn’t get. The guys in the parts department sold me someone else’s straps and the guy in the shop helped me load it in the truck. “Back in February 2007 I found myself new to the area (Augusta, GA.) and wondering into what I thought would be a friendly atmosphere. None other than my local Harley dealer. Well, I was in for a rude awakening, upon walking into the dealership there was NO greeting, NO one offered help for ANYTHING, come to find out there was an event the next day and I heard nothing of it. I was in the dealership for almost 30 mins and it took that long for someone to even approach me!! Well, if you’re still reading there has been a ownership/management change and it has been full tilt the best thing that’s happened to that dealership. I love going down there now, friendly smiles and greetings as you manuver from the front door to the motor gear/clothes area, to the parts and service area! “I have traveled to Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Pennsylvania looking for the right bike at the right price. I searched the internet in several other states, like NJ, MD and MN, all states where I had family or friends that could arrange to ship a bike to me. Three and one half hours from my home in North Carolina, I ended up, Augusta(Ga) Harley Davidson. I located a bike on E-bay, although outside my price range, Stew Wands promptly responded to my e-mail inquiry and was able to suggest an alternative which was within my price range and choice of style. Of course I was skeptical at first. As I drove the 3.5 hours to the store, I was preparing my counter arguement for the typical bait and switch. Much to my surprise, I got there and the bike exactly as described and pictured on their web site was there. And the price Stew and I e-mailed each other was still the price. I was prepared with my own Credit Union financing and asked Stew to provide me a counter finance offer. I’ve financed several vehicles through my credit union in the last 18 or so years. Not one dealer I had purchased through was ever able to make me a better finance offer. I was simply amazed that Augusta Harley Davidson beat out my credit union’s offer. The whole process was quick and simple. When we went to load the bike onto my small truck, I wasn’t prepared with enough tie downs, another sales rep, Ben, went to his truck and gave me his tie downs. I was dumbfounded. How does one compete with this kind of service? My profession deals with all types of vendors and I have negotiated million dollar contracts thoughout my career. I have to say, doing business with Augusta Harley Davidson was exactly how business should treat their clients. I have tried doing business with Harley dealers in NC, SC, VA and PA and was met with salesmen who thought I was just a wantabe wasting their time. I really wasn’t looking forward to having another “better than anyone experience” when I walked into Augusta Harley Davidson and sincerely, to my surprise, I found that southern hospitality there.
