Harley-Davidson has come out with a new extended warranty with options. If you have an existing extended warranty on your motorcycle and it is nearing expiration, you can now renew it. If your bike's extended warranty is within 10 to 45 days of expiring, you can come into the dealership and renew it for up to four years!
Harley-Davidson is also offering an optional tire and wheel coverage that is available when you renew your contract. If you are driving a bike that you purchased within the past year, you are also eligible to buy up to seven years on an extended warranty with the optional tire and wheel coverage.
Stop by the dealership and talk with Brandon for all the details on these exciting new options for warranty coverage or just give him a call at 706-651-0444.
"How to survive on a Motorcycle"
Some of these tips are elementary, some not.
These are tips provided by various motorcycle riders. We realize that there will always be differences in opinion but as long as the advice is practical to the safety of the rider, we will post it on the web page. Keep checking this page as these tips will change. We ask that if you have a pearl of wisdom to please contribute.
- Where possible, enter intersections with a vehicle on your right, otherwise down the middle.
- Look where you want to go, not where you don't want to go. Some situations can be avoided by slowing down, driving defensively, being more visible and so forth. But these only help prevent a bad situation, they don't fix it after it has occurred. And once in a bad situation, while there are many different ways to move a bike to help get out of that situation, the bike does not know instinctively where it should go - it has to be told. Before it can be told, however, the driver must make the decision of where he/she wants it to go.
- Don't allow yourself to get cold on a bike. Hypothermia can impair your judgement/abilities as much as alcohol or drugs.
- If your face shield gets too bug splattered, stop and clean it.
- Don't drive in the slow lane while on the interstate... ever... especially by off ramps... there's always the idiot who almost missed his exit and sweeps 4 lanes to get to it.
